Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Smith & Wesson CS Pistol Series are ultra-compact S&W 3rd Generation semiautomatics, slightly lighter and smaller than the 3913 / 3914. The CS is short for 'Chief's Special', the name applied to S&W's first J-frame revolvers (now known as the Model 36). Just as the Model 36 'Chief's Special' revolver was often used as a small concealed carry weapon and/or a similarly-chambered backup weapon or "spare rod" to larger full-size duty revolvers, the CS pistols are meant to fill those same roles in a more contemporary package. The CS series is no longer in production; along with the Smith & Wesson 3rd Generation semiautomatics in general.
Condition/Contents:
The owner states that this example remains New Old Stock and we see no evidence to indicate otherwise. This example will ship with the matching factory-labeled box, one extra magazine, a lock, and paperwork!
