The Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport II is a quality AR-style semi-auto rifle offered at an affordable price. The Sport II is equipped with a forward assist and a dust cover to improve reliable operation in challenging tactical environments. The upper and lower receivers are made of 7075 T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish that is hard coated. The upper receiver also has a full Picatinny rail, while the lower receiver features an integral trigger guard. The barrel features a long-lasting and corrosion-resistant Armornite finish and has a 1 in 9" twist. Additionally, the gas key, bolt carrier, and firing pin are chromed, which ensures reliable function and makes maintenance easier. The rifle has a 6-position telescoping buttstock that allows the shooter to adjust for a perfect fit according to their stature or clothing. The M&P15 Sport II Semi-Automatic Rifle comes with a Magpul Folding MBUS rear sight and an adjustable A2 post front sight. The Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport II Semi-Automatic Rifle is compatible with most standard AR15 components and accessories.
