This is a Model 2214NI "Sportsman"...a limited production/special order made for Lew Horton in the early 1990's. There were just 509 of these pistols produced. It has a 3" barrel, fixed sights (drift adjustable for windage), steel slide and alloy frame. It is blow-back operated and has an internal hammer. The design is somewhat unique in that the barrel sits low, below the recoil spring, and is fixed to the frame. The muzzle is factory threaded and these guns lend themselves well to use with suppressors. Because the barrel sits low, the factory sights can still be used with the suppressor installed. Magazine capacity is 8-rounds.
