The Smith & Wesson M&P40 .40S&W 4.25" Black Armornite Pistol is a reliable and safe firearm. It has a reinforced polymer chassis, ambidextrous controls, and superior ergonomics. It's been designed to meet the needs of military and law enforcement personnel. The M&P40 features an extended stainless-steel chassis, an aggressively textured grip, and four interchangeable palm swell inserts for optimal hand fit and trigger reach. This model is chambered in .40 S&W and does not have a manual safety. The M&P pistol has a low barrel bore axis which makes it comfortable to shoot, reducing muzzle rise and allowing for faster aim recovery. It also has an optimal 18-degree grip angle for a natural point of aim. The aggressive grip texture ensures enhanced control, while the tactile and audible trigger reset allows for quick follow-up shots. The extended rigid embedded stainless steel chassis reduces flex and torque when firing, ensuring a more accurate shot.
