Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Smith & Wesson Perfected Model is the last top-break revolver designed by Smith & Wesson. It is also the only S&W top-break revolver to have a side latch, in addition to the top latch. Furthermore, it is the only top-break S&W revolver with a trigger guard as an integral part of the frame. It was manufactured with blued or nickel finish. Approximately 59,400 were made from 1909 to 1920.
Late production .38 Perfecteds were made with the 1914 hammer block safety. Some collectors contend with good justification, that these should be considered ".38 Double Action Perfected Model, 1st change" revolvers. This model was reportedly popular in central and south America with many exported, making it somewhat scarce in the U.S.
Condition and Contents:
As you can see in the many high resolution photos, this Smith is in great over all condition showing much less than average evidence of use or handling over the years that we can see
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
