The Smith & Wesson .45 ACP caliber pistol that has been long awaited by combat handgunners has arrived. The Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 945 feature a frame mounted thumb safety, which facilitates cocked and locked single action functioning, and a grip safety to provide the experienced user with the features need to carry a single action pistol confidently.
The Model 945 offers standard Smith & Wesson linkless lock-up, a lower bore axis than Smith & Wesson Third Generation pistols and Performance Center tuned single action. The four inch match barrel and titanium coated spherical barrel bushing deliver the shot to shot accuracy you expect from high performance pistols. The optimal grip angle and post front and Novak Lo-Mount carry rear sights provide rapid and sure shot to shot acquisition. Checkered black/silver wood laminate grips and matte stainless steel slide and frame create an eye catching combination. Front and rear slide surface enhancements not only help slide manipulation but also compliment the aesthetics of the design.
