The SD40 is a direct evolution of the Smith & Wesson SD chambered in 40 S&W. The new Smith & Wesson SD40 FDE is distinctive with it’s two-tone finish. This new offering features Smith & Wesson’s improved self-defense trigger, and a comfortable, ergonomic, FDE textured grip with aggressive front and back strap texturing, which provides a more secure grip, while still maintaining comfortability. The picatinny-style rail gives you the option of adding accessories such as a light or laser. This SD40 also features an improved black Armornite stainless steel barrel and slide, which were not standard on the original SD. Overall, the new Smith & Wesson SD40 combines value with enhanced features to deliver top-grade performance in a reliable option for home and personal protection.
