This is a SAR-48 FN-FAL style rifle as produced by the Imbel factory in Brazil and assembled and sold through Springfield Armory. Featuring the standard weight chrome lined barrel with post front and adjustable peep rear sights, flash suppressor, folding steel bipod and carrying handle. The left side of the receiver has the model/caliber/serial number markings and the right side has the Geneseo address. The right side of the magazine well is marked "1005-SA-48-MATCH". Fitted with the standard composite stock with a solid rubber recoil pad, hand guards, pistol grip and sling swivels.
