The Model 311 is a break-action double barrel shotgun that was manufactured by Stevens from 1948 to 1969, after which Savage took over and changed the name. This simple but effective side-by-side shotgun is accurate, reliable, and affordable, making it a great all-purpose option for working-class individuals. The Model 311 was available in a range of gauges, with this particular example being chambered in 16 Gauge with 2 3/4" chambers. It has a beautiful, color case-hardened finished receiver and comes with an 18.5" barrel. The buttstock and forearm are made of hardwood and come with checkering that provides a secure grip. The sight is a silver bead that provides fast sight acquisition while aiming down sights. This is an excellent double-barrel shotgun that will make you proud.
