Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
From the dawn of time, hunters and warriors have tested limits and quite literally invented new weapons to reach further downrange. Rocks, the shepherds sling, spears, bows and arrows, were all excellent battlefield tested systems that proved their mettle and secured their place in history. In 10th century China, however, the course of history was changed forever with the invention of the "fire lance". The very first to push aside the limits of the simple, this proto-firearm produced results like no one had ever seen, and started the journey of weapons development down a new and exciting path.
By the 13th century, guns had become "true guns" and would largely be recognizable to us today; a metal barrel affixed to a wooden stock that, with the use of a gunpowder with a high nitrate content, propelled a projectile at high velocity. Over the next several hundred years, the advancement of these "true guns" can be marked by distinct periods of conquest. From the arquebus, to the matchlock, from the clock-like wheel lock to the flintlock. From smoothbore to rifled, from the simple lead ball to the minnie-ball, from a measured amount of powder, a patch, and a projectile rammed down the barrel, to the breech loaded self-contained cartridge.
Every step down this path lead to one place, and it would take advancements from more than just the gunsmiths to achieve the levels of precision machining that went in to creating this ballistic masterpiece.
The Foundation Stocks Genesis 2 composite stock is made from a solid block of material and resin, vacuumed and cured to ensure there are no voids or air pockets that may affect durability.
The AICS pattern Hawkins bottom metal accepts the popular and reliable AICS magazines made for short-action rifles.
Bedded securely into the stock is the trued and blueprinted Impact Precision barreled action with attached Area 419 Hellfire Match self-timing muzzle brake, completed with a two-stage Triggertech Diamond flat trigger that provides a zero-creep break to send the .308 bullet down the 1:10 26" Cryo treated MTU Benchmark barrel.
With largely German led advancements in glass and telescopes comes the Schmidt & Bender 5-25x56 PMII MRAD precision optic. This scope provides a clear and crisp view of the target while maintaining, in the ARC medium height M10 scope rings, the stability and strength needed to withstand recoil and keep its' zero.
Maintain stability by either mounting on an Arca rail tripod, or going prone with the Atlas BT10 bipod included with this rifle.
