The new G2C pistols are chambered in 9mm Luger and have a rugged polymer frame. The frame includes aggressive stippling placed ergonomically along the grip to ensure firearm retention and maintain positive hand alignment for optimal accuracy. The pistol has a compact profile, measuring 1.25" wide x 6.25" long x 5.0" tall, and comes with 12-round - (9mm) capacity magazines that have contoured grip extensions. These features deliver a solid, comfortable hold for small- or large-hand shooters. The G2C is equipped with a striker-fire, double-action trigger system with restrike capability, making it easy to operate. The pistol also has a manual, external safety located conveniently above the thumb for quick manipulation in stressful conditions. In addition, the reversible magazine release is ergonomically positioned for rapid, one-hand mag drops during tactical mag changes. The G2C frame also has a Mil-STD 1913 Picatinny rail integrated into it to accept an accessory light or a laser. The pistol is offered with either a matte black carbon steel slide or a matte stainless steel slide. The slide contours blend with the frame to promote a smooth, snag-free draw and re-holster. Precision-cut slide serrations provide a no-slip grip when charging the pistol.
