The Taurus G3c Compact Semi-Auto Pistol is an excellent choice for a self-defense handgun. It is compact, affordable, and built on a reliable G3 platform. The frame is lightweight and made of polymer, the slide is made of steel alloy, and the barrel is made of stainless steel with a matte black finish. The front slide serrations make handling and control easier, and it also features a Picatinny rail (Mil-STD 1913) to accommodate aftermarket extras. The Gen 3 trigger system and trigger safety add extra functionality to the mix.
