Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Ted Williams Model 200 shotgun is essentially a rebranded version of the Winchester 1200. It was manufactured by Winchester specifically for sale at Sears, Roebuck, and Company stores as their in-house pump-action shotgun. There were two versions of the Model 200 available at Sears - the Ted Williams version, and a cheaper, unbranded version. While both versions have the same functionality, the Ted Williams version has a superior fit and finish, and additional features. The Ted Williams 200 has a beautiful, checkered walnut wood finish, and comes with a six-position choke, making it suitable for hunting all types of game. The bolt is jeweled, just like the bolts found on Winchester 1200s. The butt pad is stamped with Ted Williams's signature, and the barrel is labeled as being capable of shooting 3-inch shells.
If you are not familiar with the Sears Model 200 firearm, it is important to understand that it is based on the Winchester 1200. Hunters and shooters require a reliable shotgun that can nearly point itself, being lightweight enough to carry for an extended period, but just heavy enough to swing smoothly and accurately when needed. That is why the Model 1200 is becoming increasingly popular among sportsmen as it is lightweight, versatile, and trouble-free. The Winchester Model 1200 slide-action shotguns combine fit, feel, and performance with advanced engineering. The twin action slide bars give the Model 1200s a self-starting action that moves back in a quick, effortless motion. The exclusive front locking, rotating bolthead locks the steel bolt securely into the steel breech for superb strength, motion, and safety. The high-strength rustproof forged aluminum receiver, cross-bolt safety, extended beavertail fore-end, positive checkering, weather-resistant stock finish, engine-turned steel bolt, and American walnut stock and forearm with a fluted comb complete the features.
"It's a shotgun designed for working men, and you can take pride in the fact that it was made in America by real Americans. The spokesperson for this sports line was the greatest hitter of all time. Owning one means owning a piece of American history at its finest, even with the plastic trigger housing and the alloy receiver. Anyone can own a Winchester, but only a special breed of man can wield the Ted Williams Model 200."
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
