Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Ted Williams Model 100 lever-action rifle was a firearm sold by Sears, Roebuck & Co. in the mid-20th century, named after the legendary baseball player Ted Williams. As part of Sears' "Ted Williams" line of sporting goods, these rifles were manufactured by Winchester and marketed under the Ted Williams brand. Recognizing the power of celebrity endorsements, Sears signed Ted Williams to promote its outdoor products, with his signature appearing on a variety of items, including outdoor clothing and firearms. Sears contracted Winchester to build a .30-30 lever-action rifle similar to Winchester’s Model 94, which was later branded as the Model 100 or Model 54 by Sears. The Ted Williams Model 100 was a variant of the iconic Winchester Model 94, known for its reliability and performance. The Model 100 featured different barrel lengths ranging from 20 to 24 inches, providing a balance of accuracy and maneuverability.

A classic Walnut buttstock and forend provide a lightweight yet stunning appearance. The Model 100 also features a durable blue-finished blue-steel barrel and receiver. Sears discontinued the Ted Williams line in the 1970s, and today, the Model remains highly regarded by hunters and collectors for its historical significance and practical utility.
