This example is the actual full-functioning Single Action Army revolver used by Russell Crowe in the movie 3:10 to Yuma. It was custom-made by U.S. Arms, exactly like a Colt Single Action Army Peacemaker of the 1870s that was expressively used for the film. It is accompanied by many documents of Authenticity, including signed letters from Mr. Thell Reed, who was the production Armourer and personal Gun Coach to Mr. Crowe and others in the film. Also, in the movie leading up to the climactic gunfight, Mr. Crowe draws this revolver from its Holster in which way the serial number can be seen, which is another point to its Authenticity.

This firearm will be included in the live/in-person auction at the fundraising banquet. Bids will be received from the auction floor and virtually through GunBroker simultaneously. The Scheduled ending time is approximate and subject to change due to the live bidding starting at 10:15 pm eastern during the GOA Banquet. The 15-minute rule will be replaced with a live auctioneer at the event site.

3:10 to Yuma is a 2007 American Western action drama film directed by James Mangold and produced by Cathy Konrad, starring Russell Crowe and Christian Bale in the lead roles with supporting performances by Peter Fonda, Gretchen Mol, Ben Foster, Dallas Roberts, Alan Tudyk, Vinessa Shaw, and Logan Lerman. It is about a drought-impoverished rancher (Bale) who takes on the dangerous job of taking a notorious outlaw (Crowe) to justice. It is the second adaptation of Elmore Leonard's 1953 short story "Three-Ten to Yuma," after the 1957 film of the same name. Filming took place in various locations in New Mexico. 3:10 to Yuma opened September 7, 2007, in the United States and received positive reviews from critics.
