The Tikka T3 is a line of bolt-action rifles that have been manufactured by Sako under their Tikka brand in Riihimäki, Finland since 2003. The series offers a wide range of different sight, caliber, and stock configurations, as well as several barrel lengths. The rifle series was developed by the Sako product development team, led by Kari Kuparinen. In 2016, the series underwent an overhaul, and the improved models were named Tikka T3x. The primary enhancements included an enlarged ejection port, a steel recoil lug replacing the T3's aluminum lug, and a metal bolt shroud replacing the T3's plastic one. All the enhanced parts of the T3x are backward compatible with the older T3 models.
The Tikka T3 Lite Stainless rifle is renowned for its exceptional accuracy straight out of the box (with a guaranteed 1" MOA at 100 yards), its smooth and efficient operation, and its unwavering reliability. This is due to its T3 all-weather action with two-locking lugs and its high-grade stainless steel construction. The rifle features a 22" free-floating barrel that is supported by a black synthetic stock, providing a comfortable and stable shooting experience. Additionally, the T3 Lite comes with a single-stage trigger that has an adjustable pull, ranging from 2-4 pounds (1-2 Kg), making it customizable to your preferences.
