This example is a World War II Bayonet replicated to match the real Bayonet used during World War II. This Bayonet features a black anodized carbon steel blade dagger style with an ABS black handle. It comes equipped with a green and ABS scabbard and black fitting. In 1943, the government adopted a shorter bayonet for the M1 Garand, and in addition to newly made bayonets, older M1905 and M1942 bayonets were modified to conform to the pattern and are known as the M1905E1. On one side of the ricasso, the blade shows a “UFH” stamp over an ordnance bomb flanked by a “U” and “S.” The other side simply has a small ordnance bomb.
