Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Example 1: These guns began production in 1958 to be ready for the Centennial of the Civil War. They were produced by Gregorelli and Uberti. They are the earliest Navy Arms made. In the early days of the Navy Arms / Uberti connection, Gregorelli actually produced the metal parts for the revolvers and Uberti assembled them. This is a copy of a "Civilian Model". None of the attachments for the shoulder stock are on this revolver. There are no safety pins on the breech of the cylinder and the hammer face does not have the notch for the pins. The hammer does sport a non-traditional square notch for a rear sight. These revolvers are extremely collectible.
These example's will ship with a wood presentation case, black powder flask that is full of powder, two cans of percussion caps, a pack of lubed wads, leather pouch with .36 cal lead balls, lead ball mold, Bear & Son damascus steel knife with genuine India stag bone handle, leather knife holster and tools!

Example 2: The Uberti 1862 Pocket Police black powder revolver is a scaled-down, concealment version of the larger 1860 Army model, with fluted cylinder, streamlined round barrel and “creeping” loading lever.During the 1850’s, Samuel Colt discovered that by working with certain steels, he could safely fit a larger caliber in a smaller-frame revolver. He therefore upgraded the the Wells Fargo or 1849 Pocket revolver from .31 Cal to .36 Cal to create the 1862 Police, to create a powerful, concealable pistol for the civilian market. The Pocket and Police were the last two muzzle loading models to be produced by Colt. The Uberti 1862 Pocket Pistol gives you the opportunity to own and safely shoot this sleek gun, which became a favorite “concealment” weapon for sheriffs, marshals and outlaws alike in the days of the Wild West.
