The Seville and El Dorado series of single-action revolvers were introduced in 1972 under the name "Abilene," produced by United States Arms based in Riverhead, New York. In 1976, United Sporting Arms was established as a spin-off company, and it took over the production of the blue Seville and stainless steel El Dorado revolvers. Notably, the El Dorado became the first production stainless steel .44 Remington Magnum revolver made in the United States, marking a significant achievement in firearm history. The Seville revolvers were offered in a variety of calibers, including up to the powerful .454 Casull. At one point, a "Qwik-Kit" model was developed, allowing shooters to swap barrels and cylinders on the same frame for versatility. Renowned for their solid construction and reliable action, these large-framed revolvers are designed for years of shooting enjoyment.
