The IF-5 is the total package. It is what every shooter is looking for - lightweight, great balance, and, most of all, incredible accuracy. The I-Fluting increases surface area, reduces weight, and adds more rigidity to the barrel than any other fluting design we offer. This means maximum heat dissipation and unbelievable accuracy all from a barrel that is 12 oz lighter than a bull barrel.
The IF-5 comes standard with a Forward Blow Compensator to give it that added touch - both in terms of looks and performance. Its stainless steel barrel features match bore and chamber tolerances. These dimensions are proprietary to Volquartsen and have evolved from over 25 years of testing. Digital gauging equipment ensures that each barrel meets our stringent criteria.
