Since the downfall of the Soviet Union in 1991, not much information is available about this interesting target rifle, other than the various opinions on internet forums. By far, the most repeated sentiment is about the rifle's accuracy. With the fully adjustable trigger, fine-adjustable rear peep sight, and aperture style hooded front sight, one thread noted that from the factory, this rifle keyholed 10 shots in a row at 50 meters. The heavy, target profile stock, with it's adjustable buttpiece, leaves little doubt that this would be a comfortable benchrest rifle. This interesting and accurate rifle may in fact be the only good thing to come out of Communism.
