Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Western Field XNH-480-H is a store-branded variant of the Stevens/Savage Model 58 series of bolt-action shotguns, produced during the 1950s–1960s for Montgomery Ward’s Western Field line. Like most department-store firearms of the era, the XNH-480-H was mechanically identical to its parent model but carried unique branding and slightly simplified trim to keep pricing competitive. These shotguns featured a tubular magazine, a straightforward bolt-action design, and stamped steel components typical of Stevens’ utilitarian manufacturing approach. Chamberings and barrel lengths varied by sub-model, but most were offered in 12, 16, or 20 gauge, giving hunters an accessible and reliable field gun well-suited for small game, upland birds, or general-purpose farm use.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
