Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Winchester-Western Division of Olin Corporation manufactured the Model 1200 pump-action shotgun starting in 1964. It was later renamed the Model 1300 in 1978 with very few changes. Production of the gun ended in 2006 due to the bankruptcy of the U.S. Repeating Arms Company, which had become the manufacturer of the gun. During the Vietnam War, the U.S. Army acquired a militarized version of the Model 1200, which has since been used in various U.S. military conflicts. The Model 1200 was created as a more affordable alternative to the Model 12 in 1964.
The Model 1300 was introduced in 1978 with only minor modifications to its furniture design and finish. Production of the Model 1300 continued when the U.S. Repeating Arms Company took over Winchester firearms in 1983. By 1992, over 2.5 million units of all models of the gun had been produced. Production of the Model 1300 stopped in 2006 when the U.S. Repeating Arms Company went bankrupt. In 2009, Fabrique Nationale d'Herstal started producing the Winchester SXP, which is based on the Model 1300.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
