Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Winchester Model 69 is a bolt-action rifle that fires .22 caliber rounds. It was manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1935 and marketed as a mid-priced bolt-action rimfire sporting rifle. Positioned between the less expensive single-shot rifles like the Model 68 and the more prestigious Model 52, the Model 69/69A was sold with both short and Long Rifle 5-shot magazines until approximately 1950.
In November 1937, the rifle underwent significant design changes. The bolt was redesigned to cock on opening, the safety was changed to a sliding lever on the right-hand side of the receiver, the rear cocking piece was eliminated, and the barrel was given a constant-diameter round contour, increasing the rifle's weight slightly. Additionally, the trigger mechanism was improved with an internal screw adjustment, allowing the rifle's owner to adjust the trigger pull weight to some degree. The improved rifle was designated the Model 69A.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
