Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Winchester Model 70 is an iconic American sporting rifle that has been a staple of hunters for more than 80 years. It has more than earned its nickname of “the riflemans rifle” and is one of the most iconic rifles around. The Classic Stainless is tough and rugged with a weather-resistant stainless steel floorplate, barrel, action and internal components. The Model 70 Sporter is pure and traditional. Over the years, it has become the essence of a bolt-action rifle for the serious sportsman. The Sporter’s raised cheekpiece puts your eye in perfect alignment behind a scope. The highly stable, comfortable stock is synonymous with accuracy. This example is a Classic Sporter Stainless with a 26” barrel, chambered for .338 Win. Mag. and features a handsome checkered walnut stock.
