Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Winchester 94AE "Wrangler II" is a distinctive lever-action rifle produced between 1983 and 1985, offered in two classic calibers: the .32 Winchester Special (discontinued in 1984) and the .38-55 WCF. Designed with a strong nod to the Wild West, the rifle features a 16-inch barrel, providing a compact yet powerful shooting experience, ideal for both quick handling and classic cowboy-style shooting. One of the standout features of the Wrangler II is its angle ejection system, allowing for smoother operation and preventing spent casings from hitting the shooter in the face. The rifle also came equipped with a saddle ring, reinforcing its rugged, western aesthetic and adding functionality for horseback use. The oversized, loop-shaped lever is another defining characteristic, giving the rifle a unique look while enhancing handling with its easy grip for rapid cycling during shooting. Both sides of the receiver are beautifully roll-engraved with Western scenes, providing a striking visual detail that emphasizes its thematic design.

With a 5-shot magazine capacity, it was well-suited for both hunting and competitive shooting, and the uncheckered stock and forearm lent a clean, classic appearance, showcasing the wood grain without distraction. The barrel was clearly marked with the "Wrangler II" logo, making it easily identifiable to collectors and enthusiasts. Weighing in at 6 1/8 pounds, it offers comfort and ease of use despite its smaller, compact size. Only produced for a brief period between 1983 and 1985, the Wrangler II remains a rare and iconic piece.
