The Tanfoglio Defiant Force Compact is a refined Italian-made compact semi-automatic pistol that brings the proven design lineage of the Tanfoglio Force family into a size well-suited for concealed carry and everyday defensive use. Based on the long-running Tanfoglio Force series, which itself is derived from the legendary CZ-75 design but adapted into a modern polymer-framed platform with double-action/single-action operation, the Defiant Force Compact distills that heritage into a sleeker, more maneuverable package. The Compact variant retains the short-recoil, locked-breech mechanics and robust double-action trigger system typical of the Force series, while shrinking overall dimensions, usually around 195 mm (about 7.7 inches) in length with a roughly 93 mm (about 3.7 inch) barrel, which makes it noticeably easier to carry concealed or use in tight spaces compared with full-sized pistols.
