Kiraku was one of Japan’s better-known post-war exporters of high-quality bamboo fishing tackle, producing rods specifically for the international market during the mid-20th century. What makes this example particularly desirable is the presence of the original factory wooden case, still bearing its GRAMPUS branding and original contents label. The rod sections, cork handle, ferrules, and guide wraps are all consistent with known Kiraku/Grampus production, and the configuration matches the factory contents list printed inside the lid.
