The Walther PDP is a modern striker-fired handgun produced by Walther and introduced in 2021 as the company’s next-generation duty and defensive pistol platform. The name PDP stands for “Performance Duty Pistol,” reflecting its design goal of providing exceptional ergonomics, reliability, and performance for law-enforcement officers, defensive shooters, and enthusiasts.
