Bryant Ridge Co. is pleased to present this RARE lever-action rifle today for a penny-start auction; this is the Winchester 94 Wrangler Large Loop Prototype.
 
Based on our research, we were unable to locate another Winchester Model 94 that features these engravings with a gold-finished receiver and a .30-30 Winchester chambering. Because of this unique combination, we believe this example may represent a prototype configuration.

Markings: Standard / The right side of the receiver is engraved with a gold mining scene / scroll engraving. The left side of the receiver features a wagon scence with scroll engraving / Inlaid in the right side of the stock is a gold-plated 1894 Morgan silver dollar.

This Winchester Model 94 Wrangler Large Loop stands out as an exceptionally unusual and potentially prototype configuration, combining features not known to appear together on other documented examples. Chambered in the classic .30-30 Winchester and fitted with a compact 16-inch barrel, it retains the fast-handling qualities that made the Model 94 legendary while incorporating deluxe and highly distinctive embellishments. The rifle is finished in blue with a striking gold-finished receiver and gold accents, immediately setting it apart from standard production Wranglers. Our research has not revealed another Model 94 pairing an engraved gold receiver with the .30-30 chambering, strongly suggesting this rifle represents a one-off or prototype-style configuration rather than a cataloged production model.
 
Beyond its unusual finish, this rifle features elaborate decorative details that elevate it into true collector territory. The right side of the receiver is engraved with a gold mining scene framed by scrollwork, while the left side displays a wagon scene with matching scroll engraving, evoking classic Western themes closely tied to the Winchester legacy. Adding further distinction, a gold-plated 1894 Morgan silver dollar is inlaid into the right side of the walnut stock, reinforcing the rifle’s presentation-grade character.
