Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Winchester Model 77, introduced in 1955, was a semi-automatic .22 LR sporting rifle designed to appeal to both hunters and recreational shooters. Featuring a blowback action, it was offered with two magazine options—an 8-round detachable box magazine and a 15-round tubular magazine—accommodating a range of user preferences. Its design emphasized a sleek, modern appearance, reflecting the streamlined aesthetic trends of the post-Korean War era. Weighing approximately 5 1/2 pounds and measuring 40 inches overall, the Model 77 was fitted with a 22-inch barrel, making it versatile for a variety of shooting activities. Standard sights included a blade front and an adjustable elevator rear, in keeping with Winchester’s sporting .22 tradition. Production ended in 1963 after roughly 217,000 units were manufactured, due in part to rising production costs and growing competition from other manufacturers. Today, the Winchester Model 77 stands as a notable example of mid-20th-century American firearm design.

We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
