According to the Factory Colt Archives Letter, this example of the Colt Single Action Army was manufactured in .38/40 with a 4 3/4" barrel (As seen above this example has a 7 1/2" barrel) and blue finish, and was shipped on April 10, 1902, to Blish, Mize & Silliman Hardware Co., Atchison, Kansas, as part of a shipment of 15 guns.
