According to The Book of Colt Firearms by R.L. Wilson and E. L. Sutherland (page 377), these “Pequeno” models were considered “2nd Quality” guns and were marketed primarily to South America, Central America, and the Philippines, with very few remaining in the United States. Despite this designation, these revolvers exhibit the same level of craftsmanship, fit, and finish that collectors expect from Colt firearms of the era.
