The Lithgow SMLE No.1 Mk III is an iconic Australian-manufactured bolt-action military rifle chambered in .303 British, produced by the Lithgow Small Arms Factory in Australia. Based on the legendary Short Magazine Lee-Enfield design, it features a 10-round magazine, smooth cock-on-closing bolt action, full-length military stock, and excellent handling characteristics. Produced beginning in the early 1910s, the Lithgow SMLE served Australian forces through major conflicts and became known for its reliability, rapid fire capability, and rugged performance in harsh conditions.
