Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Winchester Model 24 is a classic American side-by-side double-barrel shotgun introduced in 1939 as Winchester’s affordable alternative to more expensive European-style doubles and the premium Winchester Model 21. Designed as a practical field gun, the Model 24 featured a rugged boxlock action, hammerless striker-fired design, double triggers, and a simple but durable construction intended for hunters and working outdoorsmen. Chambered in 12, 16, and 20 gauge, it was commonly offered with 26- or 28-inch barrels (with some 12 gauges available in longer lengths), a raised solid rib, blued barrels and receiver, and a plain walnut stock. Produced by Winchester Repeating Arms through the late 1950s, with approximately 116,000 examples made, the Model 24 became known as a dependable “working man’s” double shotgun that delivered Winchester quality without the cost of higher-grade doubles.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3-day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
