Built with solid forged steel receivers, machined internal parts, hand-fitted assemblies, and deep factory bluing, pre-64 carbines represent the golden era of American gunsmithing craftsmanship.

This exact carbine, serial number 1985762, was produced at the historic New Haven, Connecticut plant in 1953. Chambered in the quintessential .30-30 Winchester cartridge with a full-length tubular magazine, it features a 20-inch round Proof Steel barrel, original hooded front ramp sight, semi-buckhorn rear sight, flat steel buttplate, and a straight-grain American walnut stock. Exhibiting fantastic vintage condition throughout with rich bluing, clean wood-to-metal fit, sharp proof stamps, a mirror-bright bore, and butter-smooth lever action, this 1953 Winchester Pre-64 Model 94 is a premier investment piece for Winchester purists, lever-action collectors, or C&R firearms enthusiasts.
