Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Remington Nylon 11 is one of the scarcer members of Remington's innovative Nylon rifle family, introduced in 1962 as a bolt-action alternative to the immensely popular Nylon 66. Built around the same lightweight Zytel nylon stock and receiver housing, the Nylon 11 offered hunters and recreational shooters exceptional durability, resistance to weather, and minimal maintenance compared to traditional wood-stocked rimfire rifles. Chambered for .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle cartridges and fed from a detachable five-round box magazine, it combined practical field performance with the groundbreaking synthetic construction that helped establish Remington as a pioneer in modern firearm design. Its compact 19-inch barrel and lightweight handling made it particularly well suited for small game hunting, plinking, and youth shooters.
