Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Produced by Remington Arms between 1972 and 1989, the Model 541-S Custom Sporter stands as one of the most elegant, accurate, and highly sought-after bolt-action .22 rimfire sporters ever manufactured in America. Built on Remington's rigid 540-series receiver architecture with six rear locking lugs for rock-solid lockup, the 541-S is distinguished by its factory scroll engraving on the receiver and barrel ring, a match-grade 24-inch barrel, and a finely checkered American walnut stock adorned with contrasting rosewood forend tip and pistol grip caps. Known for match-winning accuracy out of the box and fine craftsmanship, the 541-S Custom Sporter represents a high water mark in Remington rimfire heritage.

This specific example is an authentic Remington Model 541-S Custom Sporter bolt-action rifle chambered in .22 S, L, LR, bearing serial number 1121397. Outfitted in showcase trim, it features crisp factory scroll engraving across the receiver and barrel ring, a 24-inch match barrel, deep high-gloss blued finish, custom checkered walnut stock with dark rosewood forend tip, pistol grip cap, and white spacers, and a vintage period-correct Bushnell 4 Power Scopechief Twenty-Two riflescope mounted on receiver blocks. The factory blued metal finishes present in pristine condition throughout, displaying sharp roll-marks, rich polishing, and immaculate wood grain. Mechanically, the bolt operates with glass-like smoothness, lockup is bank-vault tight, the match trigger breaks hair-trigger sharp, and the 24-inch barrel bore is mirror-bright. Complete with its factory detachable box magazine, this Remington 541-S Custom Sporter offers a true collector-grade sporter setup.

Please note this example is not functioning properly and should be worked by a professional gunsmith. The Bolt will fire as soon as you disengage the safety without pulling the trigger.
