Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Smith & Wesson K-38 Target Masterpiece (designated Model 14 starting in 1957) is widely considered one of the finest double-action target revolvers ever manufactured, dominating bullseye target matches for decades. Built on S&W's renowned medium K-frame architecture, the Model 14 was engineered with exceptional balance, a hand-tuned target trigger action, Patridge front sight, and a micro-adjustable target rear sight designed specifically to maximize precision shooting in the .38 Special cartridge.

Manufactured in 1972, this vintage Model 14-3 features a 6-inch barrel marked "38 S.&W. SPECIAL CTG.", deep factory blued finish, case-hardened target hammer, and grooved target trigger. It is fitted with comfortable Pachmayr "The Gripper" black rubber finger-groove grips. The revolver displays in very clean, well-preserved condition, exhibiting rich bluing, crisp markings, clean cylinder chambers, and smooth mechanical function. This 54-year-old classic target revolver stands ready to deliver target precision or join a fine Smith & Wesson collection.
