Introduced in 1970 as the stainless steel evolution of the world-famous Model 10 Military & Police, the Smith & Wesson Model 64 set a new benchmark for duty revolvers. Combining the proven K-frame architecture with corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction, the Model 64 became an instant staple for law enforcement officers and security personnel across America. Early "No-Dash" production models equipped with the slender 4-inch tapered barrel and pinned barrel retention are particularly prized by collectors for their classic lines and traditional gunsmithing features.

This exact revolver, serial number D525348, was manufactured in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1973. Chambered in .38 Special, it features the early 4-inch pinned tapered barrel, 6-shot stainless cylinder, serrated trigger, service hammer, and original checkered walnut grips with gold S&W medallions. It comes remarkably complete in its original factory blue metal-cornered box with handwritten end label matching the serial number, along with the original Model 64 instruction sheet and factory cleaning rod with tools. Exhibiting clean satin stainless surfaces, crisp frame rollmarks, tight cylinder lockup, and a smooth DA/SA trigger pull, this complete 1973 S&W Model 64 No-Dash package is an exceptional investment piece for Smith & Wesson enthusiasts.
