Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Designed in 1846 through a collaboration between Captain Samuel Hamilton Walker of the Texas Rangers and Samuel Colt, the 1847 Colt Walker was the largest and most powerful black powder repeating handgun ever produced. Engineered to give mounted lawmen and cavalry troops immense firepower during the Mexican-American War, the Walker holds a 60-grain black powder charge behind a .44 caliber lead ball. Uberti's faithful Italian-made reproduction captures every historical detail of this legendary horse pistol, featuring the signature 9-inch barrel, massive 6-shot cylinder, hinged loading lever latch, and roll-engraved Texas Ranger battle scene.
This exact revolver, serial number 22347, was manufactured by Uberti in Italy in 1979 (verified by the "AE" date stamp). Chambered in .44 caliber black powder percussion, it features a blued 9-inch barrel and cylinder, vivid case-hardened steel frame, loading lever, and hammer, accompanied by a brass trigger guard and smooth walnut one-piece grip. Showing matching serial numbers across the frame, barrel lug, and backstrap, this Uberti Walker exhibits clean condition, sharp cylinder roll-engraving, and excellent mechanical action. It is a fantastic piece for black powder shooters and Civil War/Old West reenactors alike.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3-day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
