In 1977, Remington introduced the LT-20 (Lightweight 20) platform, featuring a trimmer, lighter aluminum-alloy receiver scaled specifically for 20-gauge shells rather than built on a standard 12-gauge frame. Special limited editions and customized barrel configurations like this "Limited" model featuring a nimble 23-inch improved cylinder barrel have long been prized by upland hunters, field shooters, and collectors for their exceptional handling characteristics and classic aesthetic. This specific example is an exquisite Remington Model 1100 LT-20 "Limited" semi-automatic shotgun bearing serial number P020833K. It features a 23-inch vent rib barrel choked Improved Cylinder for 2.75-inch shells, paired w/ a high-polish blued receiver adorned w/ factory scroll engraving. The metalwork is complemented by a rich, high-gloss checkered American walnut stock and matching fore-end fitted w/ a vented recoil pad. Preserved in fantastic overall condition w/ crisp roll-stamps, a brilliant bore, and smooth mechanical operation, this LT-20 comes complete w/ its original Remington green factory box, owner's manual, and accompanying paperwork.
