The Smith & Wesson 627-0 is a Very Rare variant of the 627 that was basically the same gun but featured a longer cylinder stop notch. Only 4,998 were manufactured in this model.

This Highly desirable Smith Wesson 627-0 "Model of 1989" is a double-action six-shot revolver that's chambered in 357 Magnum. A 5 1/2" barrel is adorned with an adjustable rear sight and a red ramp front sight. The stainless steel frame is complimented by handsome round butt goncalo alves wood grips with finger grooves to provide a more secure grip on the 627-0 Model of 1989. The unfluted cylinder is one of the most eye-catching features of this special model! The 627-0 Model also featured a longer cylinder stop notch. Only 4,998 were manufactured in this model, which makes it covented by Smith & Wesson collectors.
