Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Introduced by Remington as the top-tier competition variation of their famous gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun, the Model 11-87 Premier Trap represents the apex of factory-tuned clay-busting performance. Built specifically for high-volume 2 3/4-inch target loads, the Premier Trap edition features a receiver script-engraved "Premier Trap," high-grade figured Monte Carlo American Walnut furniture with fine checkering, a gold-emblem grip cap, and a 30-inch target barrel with a broad step-up vent rib that absorbs recoil. Further enhanced by master recoil and choke specialists, this barrel features custom ProPorting to virtually eliminate muzzle rise and felt recoil, along with a precision installed Briley choke system. Customized for serious trap competition, this example features a height-adjustable Monte Carlo comb, a fully adjustable aluminum buttplate system for fine-tuning length of pull and pitch, three (3) specialized choke tubes (Super Full Trap, Extra Full Trap, Modified), a complete secondary trigger group assembly, clip-on shell deflector, and a massive array of spare gas O-rings, springs, firing pins, and maintenance hardware.
