The 1995 Colt Detective Special represents one of the final production-era versions of one of the most famous concealed-carry revolvers ever made, combining classic Colt craftsmanship with the refined features developed over decades of continuous evolution. Manufactured by Colt's Manufacturing Company, the Detective Special traces its origins to 1927 and is widely credited with establishing the modern snub-nose defensive handgun category.
