The Ruger Vaquero, introduced in 1993 by Sturm, Ruger & Co., is a modern single-action revolver that pays tribute to the iconic cowboy guns of the Old West. Originally built on the rugged, large New Model Blackhawk frame, the Vaquero quickly became a favorite among Cowboy Action Shooting enthusiasts thanks to its blend of classic styling and modern engineering.
