Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Designed by John Moses Browning in 1914 as one of the first successful semi-automatic rimfire rifles in history, the Browning SA-22 (Semi-Auto 22) remains an absolute icon of firearms design. Distinguished by its tool-less quick-takedown action, bottom ejection that keeps hot brass away from left- or right-handed shooters, and a tubular magazine loading system integrated directly through the buttstock, the SA-22 is renowned for trim ergonomics and flawless balance. In this highly sought-after, limited-run "Stainless Gray Laminate Octagon" configuration produced in 2007 by Miroku, Browning elevated the classic design with a satin stainless steel scroll-engraved receiver, a striking 19 3/8-inch stainless octagon barrel, gold-plated trigger, and a weather-resistant gray/black laminated hardwood stock. Complete in its original factory serialized box with owner's manual booklets, lock, and takedown manual, this pristine 2007 Browning SA-22 Stainless Octagon represents a top-tier collector investment piece.
This specific example is an authentic Japanese-manufactured Browning SA-22 Stainless Gray Laminate Octagon semi-automatic takedown rifle chambered in .22 LR, bearing serial number 02062MR212 with manufacture dating to 2007. Configured in complete original factory trim, it features a 19 3/8-inch stainless octagon barrel, satin stainless scroll-engraved receiver, gold-plated trigger, gold bead front sight, folding rear sight, stock-fed tubular magazine, and satin gray/black laminated hardwood furniture. The factory satin stainless steel and laminated wood surfaces present in pristine, NIB/like-new condition throughout, displaying crisp laser scrollwork, smooth metal flats, and sharp stock checkering. Mechanically, the takedown lockup is bank-vault tight, bottom-ejection semi-automatic action operates with glass-smooth precision, trigger break is light, and the 19 3/8-inch octagon barrel bore is mirror-bright with razor-sharp rifling throughout. Complete in its original factory serialized box with manual and lock, this SA-22 Stainless Octagon offers an elite collector opportunity.
