The Ruger M77 Gunsite Scout is a rugged, purpose-built bolt-action rifle inspired by the scout rifle concept championed by renowned firearms instructor Jeff Cooper, combining portability, versatility, and practical field performance in a compact package. Manufactured by Sturm, Ruger & Co. in collaboration with the Gunsite Academy, the rifle is most commonly chambered in .308 Winchester and is built on Ruger’s proven M77 action, featuring controlled-round feeding, a Mauser-style claw extractor, and a fixed-blade ejector for exceptional reliability. Designed around the scout rifle philosophy, the Gunsite Scout features a compact barrel, detachable box magazine system, ghost-ring rear sight, protected front sight, and a forward-mounted Picatinny rail that allows the use of long-eye-relief optics while still accommodating traditional scope mounting options. The rifle's laminate, synthetic, or special-edition stock configurations provide durability in demanding field conditions, while the threaded barrel allows for the installation of muzzle devices or suppressors where permitted. Long Gun Standard Shipping with Insurance $70.00

Any orders placed with magazines that are not compliant with your state, county, or city regulations will not ship with your order.
