Introduced in 2007 as Sturm, Ruger & Co.’s first striker-fired polymer-framed handgun, the SR9 represented a major leap forward in modern defensive pistol architecture for the Prescott, Arizona manufacturer. Engineered with an exceptionally slim grip profile and low bore axis, the SR9 was designed to minimize muzzle flip and maximize recoil control. Built around a glass-filled nylon frame with an internal steel chassis, the platform incorporates a robust suite of safety mechanisms, including an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, an integrated trigger safety, and a prominent pop-up loaded-chamber indicator along the top slide spine.
This specific example, bearing serial number 331-62607 and accompanied by a factory test casing envelope dated June 27, 2012, is a well-preserved two-tone SR9 (Model 03301). Featuring a brushed stainless-steel slide, 4.14" barrel, and fully adjustable 3-dot target sights, this pistol remains in excellent overall condition. Offered as a complete factory package, it includes its original matching black hard case, factory paperwork/manual, cable lock, magazine loader, factory test casing envelope, and (2) 17-round factory steel magazines sealed in original plastic wrapping.
