The Walther PPK/s is a classic compact semi-automatic pistol produced by Carl Walther GmbH, created as a hybrid variant of the legendary PPK and PP series that combines the shorter slide and barrel of the PPK with the slightly longer grip frame of the PP. Introduced in the late 1960s for the American market, the PPK/s was developed in response to import regulations in the United States that restricted certain small handguns, allowing Walther to meet size and weight requirements while preserving the familiar PPK profile.
